I am currently the owner and Principal Broker at Action Realty. I was first licensed as a realtor in 1988 and went to work at Action Realty under the mentorship of Jane Melton. In 2003, I purchased Action Realty and have continued as the Principal Broker ever since. Myself, along with Action Realty, are currently licensed to sell real estate in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia.
In 1999 I became licensed as an Appraiser Trainee and worked under the guidance of Vance and Doug Mosley at Kentucky Field Service Realty in Hyden, KY. In 2004 I became a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser and now works under my own name in Kentucky and Tennessee. The most fun aspect of real estate is the people you meet. Second is helping old friends and new find that dream house or to sell the current one that no longer works for them.
My favorite thing is the thanks I get from friends for just doing my job. I am married and have four adult children and four grandchildren, who are my favorite pastime and hobby!

My name is Jonathan Evans, I have been a real estate sales associate since 2004 and with Action Realty since 2015. I am a proud alumnus of Eastern Kentucky University. I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to work at Action Realty. My friendly, hard-working colleagues help create a work atmosphere that is conducive to meeting the end goals of our clients. We are all happy to go above and beyond to satisfy our clients, which is very contagious and productive for everyone involved. My family has been involved in real estate my entire life. My father, Charles Evans, has been an appraiser (along with being in the banking business) my entire life. He, along with my mother, taught me many facets of this business and instilled in me the desire to help people and be useful to everyone I work with! When I’m not working, you almost certainly can catch me on the golf course doing what I love!

I am a full-time realtor licensed in the state of Tennessee and Kentucky and reside in my native home of Middlesboro, Kentucky. After several years in the banking business, I decided in 1997 to get my real estate license so I could work independently. I am an exceptional, hard-working agent who cares about my clients and goes beyond the normal duties of an agent to assist my hometown of Middlesboro and the surrounding counties in Tennessee. I belong to the Knoxville MLS, which services the surrounding Tennessee and Kentucky Counties, which broadens the advertising to Realtor.com. I run monthly ads in the Tri-State Home Guide Real Estate Magazine, am involved in continuing real estate education, and am a member in good standing with the National Association of Realtors. I have extensive experience in multiple areas of real estate, including residential, commercial, and bank foreclosures, both large and small. I work with first-time home buyers to assist them in getting their needs met. I have made a lot of great friends and have received referrals as a result!
I belong to the local Chamber of Commerce and take part in the Downtown Association activities to help make Middlesboro better. While I love working with my fellow agents, I do like working in the office of Action Realty as someone who can handle different situations and clients.
Since I am originally from Middlesboro, KY, and several of my family members still live here, I have an active social life. You can often find me at church events and with my large family of nieces and nephews. In my free time, I enjoy long walks, exercising, yard work with flowers, and lots of reading!
